Views around the ship
page 2

The starboard side stairs leading to the upper boat deck, beneath the bridge and wings. This forward area was sometimes closed to passengers because of winds.

Through the window in the Pavillion, out to the stern swimming pool and spas.

The mast from the port side, my favorite of the mast images.

The mast from the starboard side.

Through the deck rail, out to sea...

The turbulent churn from the propellers.
The crew members at the stern are in a drill.

Daily, scenes and images throughout the ship would capture my attention and require that I have a camera handy. Whether it was the simplicity of the ocean through the railing or the turbulent churning of white water from the propellers, the blue of the sky or the quiet serenity of an empty deck, I wanted to save every detail if I could. Thirteen rolls of film later, we were in New York. :)
