Around the Ship...
The public areas, page three.

Huge model of the Mauretania. The ship was built in 1907 as a sister ship to the Lusitania. She was 31,938 gross tons, 762 feet long and had a service speed of 25 knots. This model must have been 15 feet long or more. The portholes in her hull were lit. It was beautifully done.

A great little spot. The only authentic British pub afloat (so we are told). Lovely atmosphere.

Him, at the Royal Promenade, a collection of fantastic shops above the Grand Lounge (where much of the evening entertainment took place).

Lord Wedgwood, the one, the only and the last... was onboard signing all Wedgwood purchases for us. There was a great Jasper collection featuring the QE2. Of course, I had to buy something.... who can resist, especially a signed piece!?

So much to do, so much to buy... so little time. :)
