  • Top Honors on performance of the Mozart Clarinet Concerto K.622 at both District and State Solo & Ensemble Festivals, 1979

(sadly, the FUSA Band was deactivated in May of 1996)

1982 – 2006: Extended “leave of absence” from music performance

2006: By nothing short of divine intervention, I meet a clarinet professor who provides inspiration, enlightenment, encouragement, instruction and the resultant gobs of joy as finally, I play my beloved clarinet again.
